Papaya is native to Mexico and Central America, and is now cultivated in the Carribeans, the Phillipines, some parts of Africa, Australia and other countries. Papaya seed oil is also known as paw paw seed oil, papaya oil and carica papaya seed oil. Papaya oil is extracted from the sweet, tasty and delicious papaya fruit seeds (also known as paw paw) and it is rich in nourishing omega 3 and omega 6 essential fatty acids. It is a good source of vitamin A and papain. The seeds of papaya are believed to have an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect on the digestive system. It has antibiotic properties and may helpful for skin irritations, fungal infections like athletes foots, eczema, psoriasis, rashes and minor skin problems. Applied topically, papaya oil may be helpful in treating sores and cracked heels. Directions for use: Diffusion: Use three to four drops in a diffuser of your choice for creating a relaxing atmosphere. Internal use:Dilute one drop of oil with carrier oil or base oils and blend well before using. Topical use: Apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with a carrier oil to minimize any skin sensitivity. Storage: Keep bottle in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight or water contamination. Being natural and organic, oil may thicken in cold climate or change color over a period, however the efficacy will remain unaffected. Place the bottle in a bowl of warm water to regain consistency in case of freezing. Keep out reach of children. Use within 6 months after the seal is broken.
